Officer Steve DeLee with the Plymouth Police Department was on routine patrol Wednesday, March 15th just before noon when he observed a male subject walking northbound on State Road 17 approaching Lake Avenue.

Officer DeLee knew there was a warrant out for the subject arrest and stopped him.  After confirming the warrant, 45-year-old Jason Hannah of Beerenbrook Street in Plymouth was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Jason Hannah was booked into the County Jail for Theft/Embezzlement and held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
