On Thursday, February 9th, (2023) at approximately 9:20 in the evening, Officer Wozniak with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop on a gray 2009 Honda passenger car in the area of US 31 and 14C Road.

During the investigation, it was found that the driver, 30-year-old Mario A. Rojas Aguilar of Indianapolis, was operating a vehicle without ever receiving a driver’s license. He was taken to the Marshall County jail and processed for Operating a vehicle Without ever receiving a Driver’s License and was given a cash bond of $105.  He bonded out at 11:20 p.m. and was released with a court date. 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
