On May 25th, 2022 the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a call about stolen property from the 14000 block of 5th Road in Plymouth.
In July of 2022, the victim in the case reported that he had potentially located two of his stolen items in LaPorte County at an auction house. The auction house is commonly referred to as the Walkerton Sale Barn.
County Police then obtained the information of the seller as Braden Masten, age 19, of Walkerton. Following an investigation, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Braden Masten.
On Tuesday, January 31st, Braden Masten was arrested by the Rochester Police Department and transferred to Marshall County for the charges of Burglary and Theft. He is currently in the Marshall County Jail with a $1500 cash bond.
