On Monday, Northside Nutrition celebrated its grand opening. Located at 1627 North Michigan Street, Suite 101, the store is owned by Joey Martin and Abby McGlashen. While it held the grand opening Monday, the store had been open for about two weeks prior to that.
“We do lifted teas which are energized with vitamin boost in them, and they have a tea base, that’s where the caffeine comes from. And then we use sugar-free flavoring. So, all of our teas are sugar-free. And then we have meal replacement shakes, those are all under 300 calories and they’re all delicious,” said McGlashen.
Prior to the Plymouth store, McGlashen had owned a store in Logansport for a few years. Living in Bremen, she decided to open a store that was closer to home.
“I am just so passionate about helping people, whether that be for weight loss or weight gain or energy or just confidence,” said McGlashen.
Northside Nutrition is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. through 2 p.m. on Saturday, and closed on Sunday.
