The Kankakee River Basin and Yellow River Basin Development Commission will meet in Marshall County on Friday, January 27th at 10:30 in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.

This is a public meeting.  Members of the commission will review the 2022 revenue and expenditures, discuss logjam management and receive updates on projects. 

Under New Business the River Commission will discuss the invasive plant species control and sediment management recommendations, get an overview of the Kankakee FWA hydraulic study, and discuss the abandoned Norfolk Southern bridge at Schneider.  The Commission will also discuss phase III of the Yellow River bank reconstruction design and the selection process for the Yellow River phase II reconstruction project. 

Executive Director Scott Pelath will also give his director’s report and there is an opportunity for public comment.
