County Coroner Announces Medicolegal Death Investigator Professionals Week

Marshall County Coroner John Grolich announced Medicolegal Death Investigator Professionals Week January 23-29, 2023.

This is a week set aside to recognize and acknowledge Certified Death Investigators throughout Indiana.

Indiana’s Medicolegal Death Investigators serve their communities daily to provide support, answers, and closure to families, and professional support to partner agencies in determining the cause and manner of death.

“I truly appreciate the professionalism and commitment of my staff, Deputy Coroners Les Trump, John Lampkins, Dr. Byron Holm, and Ward Byers. Their service to Marshall County brings families the answers and comfort they deserve,” said Grolich.

Grolich added, “The addition of the County’s first morgue facility has allowed my staff the opportunity to better serve and provide dignity and respect to the deceased.”
