Last week Members of the Culver Town Council approved a proposal with Mitch Ripley of HR Unlimited Resources from Sheridan, IN to begin a search for a new town manager.

In December, current Culver Town Manager, Ginny Munroe notified council members of her intention to resign her position after she was “blindsided” by three council members who decided to pull the 2023 funding pledged for the Blue Zones project.  During the December 27th meeting the council didn’t approve her letter of resignation but they didn’t have any problem with her last day in office being February 10th.

Mitch Ripley from HR Unlimited Resources helped with the last two searches for Culver Town Managers, finding Jonathan Leist and then Ginny Munroe.

Councilman Bill Githens spoke to Ripley and said his proposal lists a work schedule and details charges with the entire process being $1,397.

Councilman Rich West spoke about the successful history with Mr. Ripley and motioned to authorize the proposal.  The motion was seconded by Bill Hamm.  Prior to the vote, Councilwoman Sally Ricciardi said they did an excellent job the last couple of times and Githens said the price is very reasonable.

The Culver Town Council unanimously agreed to hire HR Unlimited Resources to assist with the search for a new Town Manager.
