Marshall County Purdue Extension Health and Human Sciences is offering a four-week series on heart health.

“Be Heart Smart” is a program that will teach how to monitor risk factors for heart disease and how to make simple changes to a daily routine that can improve one’s heart health.

Karen Richey, Health and Human Science Educator, will feature easy-to-follow lessons that will be delivered over the course of 4-weeks. Classes will be held on Wednesdays in February (February 1, 8, 15, 22) from 1:00-2:00 PM at the Marshall County Council on Aging 1305 West Harrison Street in Plymouth.

The cost of the “Be Heart Smart” program is $15 and will cover all program supplies and food demonstration tastings. Anyone interested in this program should RSVP to 574-936-9904 by January 27th. For more information contact Karen Richey krichey@purdue.edu or call 574-935-8545.
