Plymouth High School’s SEED Club (Students Engaged in Environmental Development) raised funds for the Marshall County Neighborhood Center as part of the “Give Back for Christmas” program that the club began 10 years ago.

This year the students asked the PHS Staff to donate money or non-perishable items for jeans week and they did not disappoint.  The club also held a bake sale.

The club collected 19 bags of food and toiletries, as well as, $335 to donate to the Neighborhood Center.  Some items were dropped off at the Neighborhood Center on Monday, December 5th, and the rest were delivered on Thursday, December 15th.  A few club members were able to go to the Neighborhood Center to donate the items. Those students also helped the Neighborhood Center unload some items for the Neighborhood Center Staff while they were there.

The students feel it is very important to give back to the community and this is one way they chose to accomplish this goal.
