At approximately 8:40 P.M. Monday evening, December 12th the Marshall County 911 Dispatch Center received a report of a car-pedestrian accident at Oak Road and PIDCO Drive in Plymouth.
First Responders on the scene found a 16-year-old male, very seriously injured. Maleek S. Steele, had injuries not compatible with life and was pronounced dead at 9:11 P.M.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and is cooperating with law enforcement as the investigation continues.
Assisting Marshall County Coroner John Grolich at the scene were Plymouth Police, Plymouth Fire, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department as well as Deputy Coroner Ward Byers.
This accident remains under investigation.
