On Saturday, November 26, at approximately 7:10 in the evening, County Officer Jordan Rans conducted a traffic stop on Lincoln Highway east of McQueen Place on a vehicle for several infractions.
During the course of the traffic stop, it was believed the driver, 66-year-old Candido Ramirez of 1687 North Michigan Street in Plymouth was impaired. An OWI investigation was conducted and Candido Ramirez was later arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for OWI-Endangering and OWI-.15% or more.
Mr. Ramirez was issued a Superior 2 court date of December 13, 2022.
