A strong cold front will race across the area from beginning at 10 p.m. from LaPorte until 3 a.m. at Lima, Ohio.

Winds will increase to 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 with the passage of the front. A flash freeze is possible west of Highway 31 before daybreak over northern Indiana causing icy spots on roads.

Drivers should use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
