This week members of the Marshall County Council were asked to make their appointment to the Lake of the Woods Regional Sewer District.
The council received a letter of recommendation from Mary Wood, Treasurer of the District.
Attending the meeting and introducing himself to all members of the County Council, Mr. Kevin Hines their previous appointment told the council he was interested in being reappointed to the seat. The term would be from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2027.
The letter of recommendation stated, “As current trustees, serving on the board, we have had the privilege of working with Mr. Hines for the past four years. During that time, Mr. Hines has exemplified strong leadership and managerial skills that have helped our Board achieve its responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner. Therefore, it is the Board’s recommendation that Mr. Hines be reappointed to his position as trustee; and with the Council’s approval, we look forward to continuing working with Mr. Hines for providing low-cost quality service to our customers.”
The County Council unanimously approved the Regional Sewer District’s recommendation of Mr. Kevin Hines.
