The Plymouth Community School Board will meet tonight at 7 p.m. in the conference room of the School Corporation’s Central Office.

The agenda for the meeting includes a presentation from McKibben Demographic, a report on enrollment from Assistant Superintendent Jill VanDriessche, and a request to add courses to the North Central CTE Program at PHS by Principal Jim Condon.  The school board will also receive the school improvement plans for the four elementary schools, the middle school, and the junior high.  The focus areas vary from school to school but include reading comprehension, mathematical proficiency, writing for English language arts, social and emotional learning as well as increasing attendance rates. The assistant superintendent will present the plans.

PSCS Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter will report on staff evaluation scores for 2021-2022 and present a resolution to withdraw from the JESSE Cooperative.  The withdrawal would be at the end of the 2023-24 school year.      The Plymouth School Board meeting is open to the public although the meeting is to conduct the school corporation’s business and is not to be considered a public community meeting.  There will be a time for public participation on agenda items only.
