Operation Quiet Comfort is planning to send approximately 2,000 Holliday Stocking sfilled with goodies to our troops that will be far from home and families this holiday season. 

This Saturday, October 29th, beginning at 10:00 a.m. volunteers will be packing Holiday stockings for our troops that won’t be home for Christmas.  The community is invited to just show up at 17671 13th Road in Plymouth. Come for the day or as long as you can stay. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Coke-a-Cola has supplied pop and Culliganhas provided water. Pizza Hut is donating pizzas. There will also be chili, cookies, coffee, and hot chocolate to fuel the workers.

There will be sit-down jobs and heavy lifting jobs and everything in between. Everyone is welcome!

Operation Quiet Comfort thanks the volunteers who have been working on this holiday project throughout the month of October.

September 30th: high school students gave their morning of “Triton Gives Back” packing Go Bags, then moved our regular shipping items to storage and brought back our Christmas stuff.

October 10: Fifteen TCU employees volunteered 4 hours of their time at OQC for their “Day of Giving”.

October 13: on our regular monthly packing night 12 volunteers showed up AND 12 Daughters of the American Revolution Tippecanoe River Wythougan chapter came also.

October 23: Some of Jan’s cousins spent the afternoon volunteering and enjoying family time.

October 27: Ladies from St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Culver volunteered.

October 28: Office employees of Marshall Co. REMC will be donating an afternoon of volunteering and on Saturday, October 29 Everyone is welcome! 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
