The City of Plymouth has begun the process of updating its 2013 Comprehensive Plan and needs your input to help outline a vision and strategic framework to move Plymouth forward in 2040. This Plan engages Plymouth residents to come together to establish a long-term vision, address major barriers, foster partnerships, and create solutions that offer better choices for where and how we live, work, and play in Plymouth.

This Plan will not be successful or meaningful unless it reflects the community’s aspirations for Plymouth’s future! Therefore, it is crucial that we get as many community residents as possible engaged in this process, and we need to hear from you! One of the ways you can provide your input is to fill out the Plymouth Forward Survey at http://www.plymouthforward.com. Paper copies of the survey are available at City Hall, 124 N. Michigan Street, or the Public Library, 201 N. Center Street. Return the paper survey to City Hall. Complete the survey by November 18.

“As mayor, I look forward to working with MACOG and our Comprehensive Plan Committee to see our future wants and needs for the City of Plymouth,” said Mayor Mark Senter. “More importantly is listening to the citizens of our great city. We encourage and welcome everyone’s ideas, input, and aspirations on how to move Plymouth Forward as we go through this process.”

To stay informed of plan updates and receive notifications for future events, follow the City on Facebook @City of Plymouth, IN-Mayor’s Office, or by visiting the plan website at www.plymouthforward.com.

Over the next couple of months, a variety of engagement opportunities that may include facilitating small group discussions and other community events will be taking place in Plymouth. In addition to the input survey, these will be opportunities for you to voice your opinion and help shape your community! Your participation is very important to the city and its future. We look forward to seeing you at these events!
