The Marshall County Council meets Monday Monday morning in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.

Council members will hear a presentation by Rick Thompson from Marshall Starke on a security system and Chris Garner from the Neighborhood Center will present a quote to purchase a walk-in freezer for the center.  The commissioners are planning to fund these two purchases using ARPA Fund that the council needs to appropriate.

Laura Walls, Executive Director of Marshall County Economic Development Corporation will present her quarterly update while Ann Anglin from the county’s Human Resources Office will seek approval of a job description.  Council members will also consider requests for additional appropriations and transfers.

The county council will conduct discussions on the 2023 budget and will then adopt the budgets for next year along with the approval of the budgets for the East Shore Conservancy Budget and the Marshall County Solid Waste Budget.

The County Council meeting is open to the public and comments and questions are allowed at the opening and closing of the meeting.
