On Tuesday, September 6th at approximately 4:45 in the afternoon Plymouth Medics and Marshall County Police responded to the area of Michigan Road and 12B Road in reference to a medical call.

Dispatch advised of an unconscious and breathing male subject, later identified as 34-year-old Christopher Swihart Douglas Road in Plymouth.

Swihart was treated by Plymouth Medics on scene and transported to the Plymouth Hospital.

Christopher Swihart was found to be in possession of suspected fentanyl.

Upon treatment at the Plymouth Hospital and obtaining jail clearance, Swihart was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked for Possession of Cocaine or a Narcotic Drug and held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
