Officer Wallace with the Plymouth Police Department was dispatched to 1687 North Michigan Street in Plymouth, the NorthGate Mobile Home Park for a fight in progress on Sunday, September 4th just after 11 P.M.

Arriving on the scene, a large crowd was gathered at the entrance of the park. After an investigation, 18-year-old Caitlin Goorhouse was transported to Marshall County Jail and booked for Battery with Minor Injuries

37-year-old Amber Goorhouse was also transported to Marshall County Jail and was booked in for Battery with Minor Injuries, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and a Civil warrant.

Caitlin was held on a $500 cash bond until 8:25 Monday morning and Amber Goorhouse posted her $650 cash bond just prior to 11 a.m. Monday and was released.

Both women live on Queen Road with a Walkerton address.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
