The Marshall County Commissioner will meet at 8:30 (this Tuesday) morning in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.

The agenda for the meeting includes a report from County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters and Laura Walls, Executive Director of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation.

Sandy Garrison, Director of the Marshall County Museum, and Mike Miley will present a Memorandum of Understanding for the commissioners to consider, and Christie Johnson from Superior Court III Drug Court will request to apply for an Indiana Office of Court Services (IOCS) Problem-Solving Court Grant. The commissioner will also hear from Ward Byers from Community Corrections who will discuss the donation of a county asset and the request of Sheriff Matt Hassel to approve a Memorandum of Understanding with Mid America Health, Inc. for inmate dental services and an addendum to the Ritter’s Service agreement. 

Also, on (Tuesday’s today’s) agenda are the requests of Jim Bendy from the Probation Department to apply for the Justice Partners Addictions Grant and Faith Freed’s request from the Health Department to apply for the Local Health Department Trust Grant and the Local Health Maintenance Trust Grants.  The commissioners will also hear reports from the County Attorney, County Auditor and Public Comments.

Wrapping up the meeting are Commissioner Items where Midwest Maintenance will present Change Order #9 and the Auditor will seek approval of the 2023 Holiday Schedule.
