Plymouth Police Chief Dave Bacon told members of the Board of Public Works and Safety he’s had two more officers submit their letters of resignation.

Paul Stamper and Jarred Arnold submitted their notice last week and their last day of work was Monday. August 22nd.  They are both transferring to the South Bend Police Department.

Chief Bacon asked and was granted permission to offer conditional employment to David Vinson who was a candidate in the most recent application round.  Bacon said he was a good candidate and a local resident.  His wife is a teacher, and he has kids in the Plymouth school system.

Vincent will have to qualify for the police pension and pass additional testing before being hired by the city.
