Ralph O. Jones, age 89 of Plymouth, IN passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 16, 2022 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center of Mishawaka, IN.

Ralph was born to Theron E. and Clara Mae (Hovis) Jones on August 14, 1932 in Donaldson, IN. He graduated from West High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his return home from service to his country, he worked hard as a general laborer and at Fulton Marshall Co-Op until he retired. He enjoyed being outside, reading, listening to music, collecting different things, operating a Ham Radio, and filling out crossword puzzles in ink.

Ralph is survived by his nieces and nephews: Marcia Mulholland; Michael and Annette Goze; Susan and Gill Gonzalez; Patricia and Phil Nelson of Banning, CA; Rick and Pam Jones of Plymouth, IN; Cindy and Steve Fishburn of Rochester, IN; Janet Willyerd of Argos, IN; Rhett Jones of Plymouth, IN; Rhea Webster of Plymouth, IN; Melanie Jones of Plymouth, IN; Alicia Jones of Plymouth, IN. He is also survived by his cousin, Betty Geist; along with many great nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Theron and Clara Mae Jones; his sisters: Thelma R. Baxter; and B. Lucille Woolley; and his brothers: Robert L. “Bob” Jones; and Charles E. “Chuck” Jones.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in New Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel (1300 Chester St., Plymouth, IN 46563) with Pastor Chuck Krieg presiding. Military honors will follow. Friends are invited to celebrate Ralph’s life with his family.

Burial will take place in New Oak Hill Cemetery (Plymouth, IN).
