Plymouth’s Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson told members of the Board of Zoning Appeals members that each year by July 1st the city is required to provide a Consumer Confidence Report to their customers.

Usually, they are mailed out but this year the Water Department is looking at some new options that will be more efficient and a bit less expensive.  The plan is to stay within the EPA and IDEM regulations by providing an insert with the water bills that can take them to a direct website and with the URL find the city’s information which will be provided in both English and Spanish.

If a city water customer would still like a paper copy, they can check the form provided in the insert and return it to the city office or call the Water Department and they will deliver it to them.

While this is a different method Davidson said, “The feedback they are getting seems to be very well received in other communities.”
