KNOX – Coming off of a perfect season in dual and triangular meets and two tournament champion titles, the LaVille girls track team added the Hoosier North Athletic Conference championship to this season’s resume. Several Lady Lancers far exceeded expectations and seeding projections, starting with Olivia Leonhard winning the pole vault. Leonhard was joined by fellow conference champions Faith Rock in the discus, Olivia Goze in the long jump, Lauren Edison 300M hurdles, and the 4x400m relay team of Abby Leonhard, Lily Smith, Mikalah Kuskye, and Madelyn Fuchs and the 4x100m relay team of Goze, Abby Leonhard, Lily Smith, and Fuchs. The Lady Lancers will begin the state tournament next Tuesday at the Mishawaka Sectional. Field events are slated to begin at 5 p.m.
