MISHAWAKA — Plymouth traveled to Baker Park in Mishawaka Friday night and came home with a 5-0 win over the Cavemen.
Plymouth lost just 4 total games in the 5 Varsity matches. The Plymouth JV had a very successful night as well, winning by a 13-1 margin.
Plymouth was led by 1S Aubrey Vervynckt and 2S Bella Kain, who won by matching 6-0, 6-0 scores. 3S Morgan Langfeldt and the 1D team of Taylor Delp-Ellie Jones lost just 2 games each in straight-set wins. At 2D, freshman Tynley Gantz filled in admirably for Cassidy Riddle, who was absent from the match. Tynley and Annie Plothow won 6-0, 6-0 as well.
JV singles winners for the Pilgrims tonight were Tallie Hundt, Alivia Kizer, Kiley Pitts, and Izzy Wray. JV doubles winners for the Pilgrims tonight were Olivia Newcomb-Marley Christy, Maddy Thangam-Emma Jackson, Emma Rozycki-Lena Houin, Dorothy Karris-Katie Fishback, Cloe Byrd-Natalie Sheely, Jo Houin-Magaly Rodriguez, Claire Lewandowski-Maddie Harness, Dainiela Ruiz-Jayden Trump Haskins, and Mackenzie Himes-Estella Mendez.
