WARSAW — The lady Red Storm track and field team competed in a tri-meet on Monday at Lakeview Middle School winning their 2nd meet of the year with 67 points, Lakeview of Warsaw scored 63 points and Lakeland Christian 6 points.
There were a total of 8 first-place finishes coming from the LJH girls including four from Jersey Hunter in the 100 m hurdles, 200 m hurdles, a 4’9″ winning jump in the high jump, and winning first with her 4×100 m relay including Alana Allen, Kathryn Morrison, and Violet Flora.
Alana Allen also had outstanding performances in the 100m dash and 200m dash winning both and taking 3rd place for the long jump.
Other first-place finishes came from Vivy Miller in the 1600 m run and Lauren Gurtner in the 400 m dash. The Red Storm will be back in action Wednesday.
