Sheriff’s Department Expands with Hiring of Deputy Haygood

Marshall County Sheriff Matthew Hassel announced the addition of Deputy Jeffrey Haygood to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.

Haygood is a graduate of LaVille High School and Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He has been employed by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department as a Turnkey/Dispatcher since August of 2020. He is married to Lynae and they have a daughter.

On April 18, Jeffrey Haywood was read the oath of office and sworn in by Debbie VanDeMark, Marshall County Clerk.
