ELKHART – Bremen took home its fourth win of the season with a dominating effort at ECA, 14-4. The Lions struck early and often, tallying runs in all six innings. Marcos Gonzalez was the winning pitcher and had a no-hitter going into the 5th inning, before allowing three earned runs. He struck out 11 in 5.2 innings. Offensively, Shay Keyser was 4-for-5, with two RBIs, Silas Laidig was 2-for-4, with two RBIs, and Dawson Hickman was 3-for-4, (2 2Bs) and also a pair of RBIs.
Bremen is 4-0 for the first time since 2016 and takes on conference rival John Glenn today at 5 p.m.
