WALKERTON — Glenn rallied from a 5-0 deficit to defeat Kankakee Valley 11-7 and win the Dick Reese Classic on Saturday.
Brycen Hannah’s grand slam gave Glenn a lead they would not relinquish. Joe Chrapliwy and Joey Shoue collected 3 hits each. Chrapliwy and Frankie Lizzi drove home multple runs. Nathan Marshman relieved Chrapliwy in the 7th, striking out 2. Chrapliwy struck out 9.
John Glenn is now 4-1 on the season.
