James “Jim” Cook, age 59, of Plymouth, IN passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 in Golden Living Center of Mishawaka, IN.

Jim was born to Fredrick D. and Sandra J. (Snyder) Cook Sr. on April 3, 1963 in Plymouth, IN. He was a lifelong resident of the Plymouth and Grovertown areas and graduated from Oregon-Davis High School. He worked as a forklift driver for American Container Company for 30 years. In his free time, he enjoyed Notre Dame Hockey, hunting, fishing, and collecting G.I. Joe memorabilia.

Jim will be missed by his sister, Nancy (Craig) Belting of Osceola, IN; his brother, Fredrick D. (Lori) Cook Jr. of Jackson, TN; his nieces and nephews: David (Jill) Cook of South Bend, IN and their children: Emma and Harper; Jennifer (Jerry) Sanders of Elkhart, IN and their children: Ava and Ella; Daniel (Erica) Cook of McKenzie, TN and their children: Jada; Nathan; Drake; and Jamison; Brandon Cook of Jackson, TN; and Ashley (Jeff) Baker of Jackson, TN and their son, Reese.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563).

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563) with Pastor Tim Lee presiding.

Burial will follow in New Oak Hill Cemetery (Plymouth, IN).
