The North Central Area Vocational Cooperative is excited to announce Jennifer Felke as its new director.  Jennifer comes to the position having served since May of 2013 as the Director of the Weidner School of Inquiry in Plymouth High School.  

While at WSOI, Jennifer led the New Tech implementation named an Exemplar School by the Partnership of 21st Century Skills and a Network Demonstration site.  She expanded the dual credit program from 5 courses in 2014 to over 30 for the 2022-2023 school year.  She directed and expanded the Plymouth CTE program aligned to local workforce needs, increasing the funding during her time by over $500,000.    Jennifer led many technology initiatives, and she authored multiple grants to fund CTE classes.  Finally, she led PCSC during a yearlong pathways partnership grant through the EWIN (Education Workforce Innovation Network) resulting in the establishment of Plymouth Pathways and the PHS “Go” Center.

The Board of Directors made up of Superintendent from 10 schools, mainly from the Marshall and Starke County areas, look forward to partnering with Jennifer Felke to create opportunities for students.
