The Plymouth Park Department is getting ready for spring and its annual Easter events.

Everyone can join the fun of Easter on Saturday morning April 9th.  Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be held at the Webster Recreation Center at 110 Webster Avenue from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.  Breakfast includes pancakes and sausage, and the Kiwanis Club is helping the park department out by doing the cooking. 

Tickets for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny are $4 for adults and $3 for kids.  Tickets should be purchased in advance at the park office to help them get a count for supplies.  There will be some tickets available at the door.  Cash and checks are accepted for purchasing tickets.

After Breakfast with the Easter Bunny hop on over to Centennial Park for the annual Easter in the Park Fun.  Beginning at 10:30 a.m. sharp the Plymouth Park Department will host the Easter Egg Hunt in the front portion of the park.  Children from walking to age 11 will be divided into three age groups: walking to 4 in the pony league diamond, 5 to 7 in the area of the skate park, and 8 to 11 at the wooden play structure. 

Kids participating in the Easter Egg Hunt should bring their baskets or bags to gather their eggs in.  The 8,000 to 10,000 plastic eggs are filled with candy, small toys and a few have tickets for large prizes. 

Following the egg hunt, participants should empty their eggs and place them in the large barrels that will be in the hunt areas. 

The Easter Egg Hunt on April 9th at 10:30 in the morning is FREE.
