After postponing for two years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Operation Quiet Comfort is excited to announce they are once again holding their “Celebrate and Support Our Troops” fundraiser.

This is a unique fundraiser with only a limited number of tickets because dinner is served to everyone attending at the same time.  This isn’t a dinner where they serve for a couple of hours.  Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner is served at 6 p.m.  The delicious pork dinner includes all the sides and even dessert. As in years past, Operation Quiet Comfort is currently seeking the help of local restaurants to provide all the necessary food items and even the plates and silverware for the dinner.  That way, all the funds for those items can go to support the troops.

Following dinner Operation Quiet Comfort volunteers will give a brief update on the work they have been doing and the troops they are serving.  Then the real fundraising begins with a live auction.  Those attending will have an opportunity to bid on some awesome items.  There is also a silent auction and sometimes they even have grab and go items that all help to support the troops.

The Celebrate and Support the Troops fundraiser will be held on Thursday, April 28th at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 650 Columbus Drive in Plymouth.  Tickets are $45 each and are available here at WTCA, A.S.K. For Flowers and the Plymouth Chamber in downtown Plymouth and at H & R Block in Bremen.

If you would like to be part of the planning committee or can help the night of the event, please contact Ken or Jan at 574-936-1424 or janh@operationquietcomfort.com

Operation Quiet Comfort will be a guest on WTCA’s “What’s Your Opinion Show” Friday, March 18th.  The show begins right after the 9 a.m. news and the interview with Operation Quiet Comfort will begin about 9:45. Tune in to get lots more information about the event and how you can help support our troops.
