The Marshall County Council meets this morning at 9 in the second-floor meeting room.  There are a number of items on the agenda for them to address.

Marshall County Coroner John Grolich was extremely busy the last two years and this year isn’t much different.  He is going to discuss last year’s request to hire a part-time person to assist with clerical help.  The council did not agree with the hourly payment he suggested and reduced it.  Grolich will be back to discuss the position and pay.

Ty Adley the County’s Plan Director will present his annual report to the County Council while Faith Freed from the County Health Department will request permission to apply for two different grants.  Council members will also consider the requests for additional appropriations and reduction appropriations.  Also on their agenda will be transfer requests, the Auditor’s Report and Council Items.

Under Council Items is an ordinance amendment for Salaries and the joint resolution to approve a petition to establish a Regional Sewer District.

The County Council meetings are open to the public and comments and questions are welcome.
