The Marshall County Commissioners will conduct their first meeting of the new year at 8:30 Tuesday morning in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.  The meeting has been moved to Tuesday because the county offices are closed on Monday for the New Year’s holiday.

Agenda for the meeting includes reorganization of the board along with department head appointments. 

Jason Peters from the County Highway Department will report and 11th Road resident, Rod Hess will discuss concerns with Bridge 87 on 11th Road over the Yellow River. 

County Attorney Jim Clevenger will give a report along with County Auditor Julie Fox.  Listed under Commission Items is the SRI contract for Tax Sale Certificates along with 2022 board appointments. 

The Commissioner’s meeting is open to the public and comments and questions are always welcome.
