Tuesday morning the Indiana State Police released the identity of the driver who died after an officer involved shooting in Marshall County on Sunday.

The driver was identified as 33-year-old Dylan Bush of Culver.

Additional details are not currently being released including the name of the Marshall County Deputy involved.

An autopsy was conducted on Tuesday but results and toxicology will not be released until a later date.

The situation stems from an incident on Sunday that started when a Culver Police Officer tried to pull over a suspected drunk driver behind the wheel of a white Chevy sedan.   The driver was identified as 33-year-old Dylan Bush.  Bush led police, including Culver, Marshall County and Argos officers on a 30-minute pursuit before stopping in the parking lot of the Park ‘N Shop on North Shore Drive in Culver

The Indiana State Police report said the Deputy stopped his vehicle in front of the Chevy and exited his patrol vehicle.  Police allege that Bush drove his vehicle toward the deputy, pinning him to his squad. At that point the deputy fired several shots ultimately killing Bush.

The deputy was transported to Saint Joseph Hospital in Plymouth and according to Sheriff Matt Hassel.   He was checked out and released and is currently on paid administrative leave.
