It’s November 10th and today property taxes are due.

Taxes are to be paid in the Marshall County Treasurer’s Office on the second-floor of the County Building.  The County Building will be open until 6 p.m. Wednesday evening in an attempt to accommodate more citizens.

Payments are also accepted through the regular United States Post Office via check, money order or cashier’s check.  The envelope must be postmarked for Nov. 10th.  Credit or debit cards may be used online at www.co.marshall.in.us by clicking on Property Taxes although there is a convenience fee that may apply.

The Marshall County Treasurer’s Office has installed drop boxes at both the north and south entrances of the County Building. The boxes are located between the doors, in the vestibule.  Additionally, there is an existing drop box on the outside of the south side of the building, near the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office where your tax payments may be dropped off.

There are collection points for tax payments at all TCU locations, First Merchants Bank in Bourbon, First Farmers Bank and Trust in Culver and the Town of Bremen Clerk-Treasurer’s Office.  You MUST have your tax coupon with the payment if choosing one of these options.

Residents are welcome to call the County Treasurer at 574-935-8520 with any questions or concerns.
