Michael “Mr. Mike” R. Dilts, Sr., age 65 of Bremen, IN passed away on October 28, 2021 at 11:39 a.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center of Plymouth, IN.
Michael was born to James Dilts and Betty Starke on November 3, 1955 in Knox, IN. He married Sharon Keating on September 30, 2000. He worked as a roofer and an animal caretaker. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and was often called the “Beastmaster.” He was friendly and funny and could be heard jokingly saying to friends and family, “Glad you got to see me!”
Michael will be missed by his wife, Sharon; his sons: Samuel Dilts (Crystal Cribbs) of Leesburg, IN; Jacob Howard of Delong, IN; Zachary Howard of Plymouth, IN; Michael Dilts Jr. of South Bend, IN; his brother, Robert (Linda) Dilts of New Carlisle, IN; 7 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Charlie Dilts; his sister, Beth Ann Dilts; and his brothers: James Dilts; Patrick Dilts; and Terry Dilts.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
