Andrea Jayne Blum, 49, of Plymouth passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 2021, at home.  She was born on December 17, 1971, to Jay and Merial Ann Wiedeman.  Andrea graduated from Plymouth High School in 1990.  Andrea married Michael Blum on December 15, 1990.  She was the love of Michael’s life.

Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Angela, and recently a brother-in-law Nick Southwell.  Missing Andrea are her husband, Michael, son, Alexander (fiancée Emerson), daughter, Abbygael, and step-daughter, Jennifer and her children, Magnus and Clementine, a brother, David (Helen) Wiedeman of Missouri, sister, Aimee (Stan) Ellinger, and sister Monica Southwell all of Plymouth.  Along with many nieces and nephews she loved and cared for deeply.

Andrea was a hard-working dedicated mother, wife, and sister. She lived her life for her family. She worked for Pathfinder Services for 31 years where she received multiple awards.  Her clients were like family to her.  She was a passionate advocate for them.  Her heart was exceptionally kind.  Her gift was being an encourager to others and used it daily.  She had a strong faith in the Lord and lived a life caring for others.  Andrea loved her pets, her trees, and the birds in her backyard.  She never felt the need to travel, because she said everything she enjoyed in life was right here at home.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 6th, at Crossroads Church, Plymouth, 4-7 PM with funeral following.  Burial will be Thursday October 7th at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bourbon, Indiana at 11 AM.
