The Marshall County Commissioners will meet Tuesday, this) morning at 8:30 in the second-floor meeting room of the county building. They have a busy agenda for the meeting including a report from Highway Superintendent Jason Peters and three resolutions being presented by EMA Director Clyde Avery for consideration. Those resolutions are the Marshall County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan Annex A Warning adoption and Annex B adoption along with the county’s Continuity of Operations Plan.
Johnson Melloh and Rick Anderson will discuss energy conservation opportunities with the commissioners and County Plan Director Ty Adley will conduct a public hearing for the Homer and Freda Miller minor subdivision and present an easement vacation in the Shady Brook Estates.
Sheriff Matt Hassel will discuss the need to replace the 911 consoles at the Sheriff’s Department and upgrade the radios while Marshall County Prosecutor Nelson Chipman will discuss Flock Safety Systems. Also on the agenda for the commissioners is Faith Chapman from the Health Department who is requesting to apply for two grants.
Sharon Leathers will be back to discuss the idea of a sewer system in Tyner.
The Commissioner will also hear from the County Attorney and County Auditor along with any public comments and or questions.
