The Plymouth Community School Board will meet Tuesday, August 17th at 7 p.m. in the Administration Building at 611 Berkley Street in Plymouth. 

The School Board will conduct a public hearing on the new Superintendent’s contract.  The annual base salary is $128,000 with an annuity of $7,680.  The contract includes $2,752 for VEBA.   VEBA stands for voluntary employees’ beneficiary association and is a tax-exempt trust authorized by Internal Revenue Code. 

Other benefits for the Plymouth Superintendent are $3,500 gasoline allowance and $900 for telephone allowance.  The Superintendent is eligible for the school insurance program at a cost of $26,712 for group health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance at $399, and association memberships for $800.

The total value of the contract is $169,843. 

The contract calls for the Plymouth Superintendent to be evaluated by the school board and rated using the same categories that appy to teachers and other administrators.  The contract allows for 12 sick days and 5 personal days along with 20 vacation days as well as those other generally recognized holiday breaks provided for all staff members in the school calendar.

The Plymouth School Board will also review the proposed budgets for 2022.
