Agenda for the school board meeting includes resignations with the Principal at Washington Discovery Academy, Lauren Cooper effective June 18th along with numerous other teachers, aids and support staff. Under appointments are listed several teacher positions, aids and support staff personnel. Assistant Superintendent Jill VanDriessche will present for consideration a candidate to fill the principal vacancy at Washington Discovery Academy.
The agenda for Tuesday evening’s school board meeting also includes introduction of new certified employees, consideration of a contract with Michiana Behavioral Health Care Center for the 2021-2022 school year and Ted Brown who will present the Plymouth Community School Corporation Emergency Plan and Report on Safety and Security.
