On Monday the Yellow River Festival organization presented a check to the Plymouth Park Department as they have disbanded the Yellow River Festival after 13 years.

The Yellow River Festival was held annually the 1st weekend in June, in River Park Square in Plymouth and brought hundreds of visitors to the community.  The Yellow River Festival showcased the history of Marshall County from the 1800s to the 1940s.

The check in the amount of $574.79 provided to the Plymouth Park Department will be put towards a dedication bench to be placed after the Greenway Trail is expanded to River Park Square, where the festival was located.
