On Tuesday, July 20th at approximately 5:45 in the evening Officer Finn with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by Domingo J. Cabrera Jr., 46, of Plymouth.

After a brief investigation, Cabrera Jr. was found to have an active warrant through Marshall County. Additionally, Cabrera was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Paraphernalia.

The passenger in the vehicle, Taryn McLean, 43, of Osceola was found to have an active warrant through Elkhart County and was additionally charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.

Cabrera Jr. and McLean were both transported to the Marshall County Jail.  Cabrera was held on a $241 cash bond for fines and costs and $1,500 for the new charges.  McLean was held on a $1,500 cash bond.  Both will appear in Marshall Superior Court III.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
