The Marshall County Recycle Depot is raffling off a Green Tree Plastics recycled plastic bench Monday through Thursday at the Marshall County Fair. Participants can pick up a raffle ticket at the Depot booth in the Commercial Building between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. for $1.00 a ticket. The winner will be drawn at 8 p.m. Thursday night. You do not have to be present to win. All proceeds will benefit the Marshall County 4-H Club.

The Depot has special events going on all week at the fair. An information booth is available and Depot staff will be on site with the following programs:

Monday: Meet the worms that reduce food waste at the Recycle Depot and learn about composting.

Tuesday: Pick up a reusable straw or cutlery set and learn how to reduce your waste.

Wednesday: Grab a free tote bag and learn how to reuse items around your house.

Thursday: Do you know how to recycle right? Spin the Wheel of Fun and find out! Bench raffled off at 8 p.m.

The Depot booth will also be displaying compost bins, offering information on disposal options in Marshall County, and answering questions about reducing, reusing, and recycling. See you at the Fair!
