On Friday, May 14th at noon, local business owner and community leader Ed Rodriguez will present “Migrant Roots to Vibrant Community.” Ed will discuss the topic of identity and the effect it has on placemaking experiences.

Ed’s presentation will focus specifically on “a culture that has struggled to overcome the challenges that most of us have accepted as a right rather than a privilege and provides us an insight into how blessed we are to be Americans.  These same obstacles created a strength and pride that is unyielding and inspiring to generations that follow.

The Brown Bag Lunch program will peek inside the journey of those raised differently than yourselves and offer a perspective of how dreams are still realized in this great land.”

To register, call the Marshall County Museum at (574)936-2306 or email sarahwhisman@mchistoricalsociety.org for event details and the Zoom link.
