MugShot_joshua fansler 5-2-21On Saturday, May 1st, at approximately 10:45 at night, Officer Finn with the Plymouth Police Department made contact with a male subject standing outside the residence at 301 Skylane Drive apartment G2 while he was following up on an investigation.

While talking to the male, the officer could see a bag hanging out of his pocket containing a controlled substance.  After further investigation, the male, 18-year-old Joshua Fansler of Lakeville was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Fansler was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $500 cash bond that was paid on Sunday, May 2nd near noon.  He was released with an initial hearing scheduled in Marshall Superior Court II on June 29th.

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
