Marshall County WorksMarshall County Economic Development Corporation announced Tuesday the launch of a new website https://www.wewantvets.com that is aimed at attracting military veterans to Marshall County.  The new job portal connects vets to Marshall County jobs that match their skill sets.  The portal allows veterans to search available jobs by military occupation classification (MOC).

The site will allow veterans to search by MOC or to review all jobs posted for the area.  Veterans will also be able to post a resume for potential employers.  Employers will be able to review the resumes and post job opening as they become available.

“Marshall County industry and businesses are consistently looking for well trained quality team members to grow,” said Kevin Overmyer, President of the Marshall County Commissioners.  “This effort will market these opportunities to veterans as they look for a place of employment in the civilian workforce.  Combined with the work we are putting into improving the quality of life and housing in the country, we feel strongly that we can attract the type of talent local industry is looking to hire.”
