Coronavirus Update 2021The Indiana Department of Health announced Thursday that 1,250 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings Indiana’s total to 711,787.

In Marshall County 19 new positive cases of the coronavirus were added to the county’s total bringing that number to 5,819.  No new deaths were reported so our count remains at 109.  51 new COVID-19 tests were administered bringing the county’s total tests results to 24,971.  The 7-day positivity rate for all tests was 3.5% while the 7-day positivity rate for unique individuals was 17.1%.

To date, 12,844 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19.

A total of 3,347,994 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana. A total of 9,553,973 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.

As of Thursday, a total of 3,887,012 doses have been administered in Indiana. This includes 2,233,214 first doses and 1,653,798 individuals who are fully vaccinated.
