Mayor Mark Senter announced Wednesday afternoon the appointment of Steve Holm as Plymouth’s new Fire Chief-EMS Director. Holm began his service with the Plymouth Fire Department as a volunteer in 2000 before joining the full-time staff in 2009. Since 2016, he has held the position of Assistant Chief. Born and raised in Plymouth, Holm went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Indiana University before returning home, where he and his wife Jami have reared their five children (Graciabelle, Fitzgerald, Kavanaugh, Finnigan, and O’Malley).
“Steve has served the department and our community well for many years. I look forward to his continued leadership in this new role,” Mayor Senter stated. “I’m excited for this opportunity and look forward to continuing to build upon the Plymouth Fire Department’s many successes moving forward,” said Chief Holm.
